Water
The City is responsible for all water main and service repairs that occur on their property.Residents and/or landowners are responsible for the water service line that extends from the shut off valve to the dwelling.
If a leak is encountered within the dwelling and cannot be shut off via the main water shutoff valve located within the dwelling, the City will respond and shut off the service line valve located just outside the property line. There is a nominal fee for the service. During an emergency or after office hours, the water can be shut off and the fee can be paid at a later date.

Sewer
The property owner's Sanitary Sewer Service Line is the section of pipe that extends from the dwelling or business to the property line. It is the responsibility of the property owner/resident or business owner to make sure their sanitary sewer service line is free of obstructions and flows freely. It is the City's responsibility to maintain the sanitary sewer service line from the property line to the sanitary collection system. The City, at its own discretion may video any portion of the sanitary sewer collection system it is responsible for. If it is found that any section of the collection system has structural problems, the City will repair the section of line either by replacing the pipe or several other techniques available. Structural problems may include root infiltration, line separation, reverse grade, collapsed, etc.
