A Nature Writing Adventure - Be Wild the Spring Break at Scout Island Nature Centre

Monday, March 27, 2017

Children aged 7-14 are welcome to join us for a no-pressure exploration of writing about what we see, feel and discover while playing in nature. Anne Theresa White has been mentoring young writers in the community for several years, and her daily walks at the Nature Centre feed her creative spirit. Mary Forbes, will combine nature walks and outdoor games with Anne’s writing activities to nurture kids’ expressive potential. And we will be checking out the returning birds, following tracks in the mud/snow, learning about the animals living at the nature centre and helping feed the nature house residents. Each day will be different sign up for 1 or all 4! $25 per day Be sure to register early by phoning 398-8532 or emailing shemphill@xplornet.com
