Parks and Trails in City Limits Reopened at Noon Today

The City of Williams Lake advises that effective at noon on August 22, 2017, all parks and trails within City limits will be reopened to the general public. This restriction removal includes Scout Island, but does not include the River Valley at this time.

Although cooler temperatures coupled with recent rain events have allowed for the reopening of these facilities, conditions do remain vulnerable. Smoking in the reopened parks is prohibited, as well as the use of any motorcycles or ATV’s.

We thank the public for continuing to obey any safety signage on park properties.
