Emergency Operations Centre dedicated phone line

The City of Williams Lake’s Emergency Operations Centre has set up a dedicated phone line for local COVID-19 related enquiries. This line will assist with operational and non-medical related questions and will provide direction toward available resources.

The number is 250-392-2364.

The public may also call 1-888-COVID-19 (1-888-268-4319) from 7:30 am – 8 pm for any non-emergency questions or concerns regarding COVID-19.  The 1-888-COVID19 line is designed to provide non-medical information or help people decide if they should seek testing. It also accepts text messages through 604-630-0300.

The BC Government has also recently released a COVID-19 Support and Self-assessment app that can be accessed through the Google Play Store or App Store by searching BC COVID-19 Support.
The Self-assessment tool can also be found online at: https://covid19.thrive.health/

“The City is looking to support our community by providing all residents with an easy solution to find accurate information and resources through our dedicated information line: 250-392-2364,” said Erick Peterson, Emergency Operations Centre Chief. “This phone line will be operated from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, and will provide information about City operations and direct questions that need further information to the appropriate organizations.”

The City will update its residents as soon as any developments occur. For up-to-date information regarding the local response to the COVID-19 situation, with relevant links to current information, visit www.williamslake.ca/COVID-19
