Biography
Jazmyn Lyons has been a resident of Williams Lake for 12 years with family roots here dating back five decades.
As an artist she was very impressed with Williams Lake’s local arts and culture community and decided it was a great place to settle in. Working as an illustrator and designer from her home office was nice, but she wanted to be more involved with the residents of the city and decided it was time for a change.
Jazmyn invested in Williams Lake by opening a toy store downtown in 2014 along with her mum, and has continued to spend her time planning events and festivals for the community.
Learning more about the area and meeting many of the members of this amazing community led her to join the Potato House Society Board as well as the Downtown BIA, where she sat as Chair on both for several years.
She wants to see others invest in this great city and hopes they see the same potential she does.
